The Diaspora Museum
An amazing museum - nothing like it elsewhere in the world. In the huge, modern building are countless artful exhibits that chronicle the 2,500-year history of the Jewish Diaspora. The collection isnt full of objects from the past, but is rather a multimedia history lesson about what happened to the Jewish people and what they accomplished between the time of the exodus from Israel and the time they returned.

Nahalat Binyamin Market - Tuesdays and Fridays
This large outdoor fair takes over the streets of the Nahalat Binyamin Pedestrian Mall (btw. Allenby St. and the Carmel Market), Tuesday and Friday, selling a variety of Israeli handicrafts and jewellery - plus a number of local culinary treats. Also street performers.
Shenkin Street
Shenkin St. is one of the most popular streets in Tel Aviv, either for shopping or just for a coffee or light lunch. The street is full of shops and cafés, some more expensive and some less. Many Israeli designers have small shops there, and it’s a fun place to hang out and soak up the atmosphere of young TA.
Neve Tsedek
Neve Tzedek was the first neighborhood built in the “new” city of Tel Aviv, back in 1887. At the beginning of the 20th century Neve Tzedek was the home of many artists and writers, and after recent renovation has become a stylish bo-ho area with some fab restaurants, galleries and designer shops. Also, the architecture of Neve Tzedek is definitely worth a look as there are several beautiful old houses restored to grandeur by modern architects and designers.
Old Jaffa
Jaffa is atmospheric and absolutely beautiful - plus rich with historical and cultural significance. Its strategic hilltop location, natural harbor and abundance of wells has rendered it a contested place since Biblical times. Today it is bustling with its integrated mix of Jewish and Arab citizens, who run an array of colorful markets, art galleries and interesting little shops. Some must-see sites are the Mahmuddiya mosque, the Antiquities Museum of Tel Aviv, Kedumin Square, Ramses Garden and the legendary Andromedas rock.
No trip to Tel Aviv is complete without a stroll down its epic beachfront promenade - especially over a Friday/Saturday when the whole city gravitates to the sea
